Tokyo 2015
Easily one of my favourite cities in the world, Tokyo is full of charm. When I travel I tend to just spend my days walking around aimlessly, and I couldn't have asked for a better city to take my new camera out for a spin. After consulting some friends much better at this than I am, I picked up the Fujifilm XT10 with a 27mm 2.8f pancake lens. This gave me the compact form factor I liked on a previous contender, the Fujifilm XT100; but unlike the XT100, the XT10 allows interchangeable lenses.

I will always stop for a pink house. This one in Omotesando (one of my favourite neighbourhoods in Tokyo) is a gem.
Harajuku / 原宿

Setagaya / 世田谷区
My AirBnb was in Sangenjaya, part of the Setagaya district. I really loved staying in a quieter part of Tokyo, it feels like a small town when I'm walking around the neighbourhood. It's lined with coffee shops, bakeries, izakayas, and other small shops. Conveniently it's just just one stop away from Shibuya on the train.
Shimokitazawa / 下北沢
Shimokita seems to be the new trendy neighbourhood, especially for independent fashion retailers compared to the more well-known Harajuku. It's definitely worth a stroll if you're into more local Japanese styles.
